Mosaic table D80 black and white glazed

A diamond border is typical of a Moroccan mosaic table . In addition to the decorative function, it also has a symbolic function: as stylized eyes (witch eyes), square diamonds are supposed to protect people from any kind of harm. The mosaic setters place a wide variety of patterns and ornaments into this frame. However, one thing is always the same: the glazed mosaic pieces are previously carved from the handcrafted Zellige tiles with a sharp-edged hammer. Each table top is entirely handcrafted and therefore absolutely unique .

This mosaic shows that a traditionally made mosaic dining table does not have to be colorful. The colors black and white have one big advantage: they always fit. This glazed mosaic table develops its best effect in a modern ambience - such as a loft, a balcony with lots of stainless steel and a terrace covered with granite or natural stone. Or choose it as a calming haven with red and other strong colors. However, the ornamentation is anything but subtle: held in check by the diamond edge, numerous ribbons, pentagons and stars abound inside.
