The handwork is obvious when you look closely at our Moroccan ceramic bowl: the brush stroke is so clear that you think it is still wet. The ornament is burned firmly into the glaze - and of course can no longer be wiped off. Hand-painted ceramics have a long tradition in Morocco. As was the case centuries ago, the clay is formed on potter's wheels into bowls, bowls and the most beautiful decorative objects. Painting by skilled hands turns each piece into a unique piece.
Original Moroccan ceramics from Safi can be recognized by their iridescent colors. This ceramic bowl has the typical leaf motif surrounded by polka dots. Ideal as a bowl for apples, tomatoes or bread, for storing lemons, oranges and nuts. However, please do not use it to serve hot food as this could damage the painting.
