Tawus is Persian and means peacock. The Tawus mosaic fountain owes its name to the two proud birds in the decor of the back wall. In the Orient they embody beauty, but also a ruler's claim to power. Probably no one who has never heard of the legendary Peacock Throne of the Shah of Persia. The peacocks are integrated into floral and climbing ornaments and into a traditional diamond border. The brass gargoyle/water spout is designed as a stylized lion's head.
Despite its impressive height, the mosaic fountain is constructed to be relatively narrow. It takes up very little space and fits into many niches. He finds a perfect place in the garden . Place it in front of a hedge, in a garden pavilion or on the terrace in front of the house wall. It is easy to move on its transport wheels. In the cold season you can enjoy the soothing sound of splashing water in the winter garden. A built-in electric pump circulates the water. Thanks to the cycle, the mosaic fountain only needs to be filled once at the beginning of the season. Of course, you can turn the water flow on and off as needed.
In Morocco, red represents passionate love. For mosaic furniture and fountains, however, a less blood-red variant, the elegant Bordeaux red, is preferred.
