Marokkanische Königszelte

A royal tent is worthy of a king - a king and his entourage. The interior is spacious and traditionally very sumptuously furnished. The floor is usually carpeted, the individual areas separated by screens and furnished with tea and side tables, wooden chests, oriental seating areas, leather seat cushions and camel stools.

Tents have been tried and tested dwellings of nomadic peoples for thousands of years. They offer protection from the sun and sandstorms and can be quickly erected and dismantled. Their traditional black color is due to the goats from whose hair the tents are woven. Even from a distance, the dark Berber tents are easy to spot in the light desert sand. An invaluable advantage in an area without paths and markings.

Today, only a few wandering Berbers live in Morocco. However, their caidals, the tents for the king, have survived. As event and party tents, they also find many supporters in our latitudes. Our climate requires a different material, but our dreams are the same as those of the Maghrebians: to surround ourselves with appreciative people and to celebrate with them in an impressive ambience. Fairytale Orient!

Do you wish special dimensions or individual models? We would be happy to have royal tents made according to your specifications.
