Hennalampen: Stehleuchten Deckenlampen Wandlampen aus bemaltem Leder

For an oriental henna lamp, a hand-forged iron frame is first covered with leather and then artfully painted. Moroccan craftsmen use fine goatskin for this purpose, which already loses any odor during preparation. In the next step, artistically talented women decorate the leather lamp with imaginative patterns and ornaments. Like a person's handwriting, the painting is individual and may therefore differ slightly from the picture. Each henna lamp from Casa-Moro is created from A to Z by hand and is therefore truly unique.

Henna floor lamps give a pleasant warm light, as it shines through the semi-transparent goatskin subdued. The desired oriental mood is created by sensually curved silhouettes, ornamental decorations and the artistic henna painting. The dye for this is obtained in Morocco from the leaves of the henna bush. After drying in a shady place, these are pulverized and mixed with water to form a paste. When it reacts with protein, a component of hair, skin and leather, the color of henna paste turns from olive green to a beautiful reddish brown.

Choose a leather floor lamp in red or orange if you love tone-on-tone compositions. A stronger contrast is the henna painting on an oriental lamp made of light, almost white leather. Sizes range from floor lamps about 150 cm high to low table lamps, which also create a warm atmosphere as a bedside lamp or TV light.
