Marokkanische Teekannen – neu und antik

In Morocco, a household without the typical teapot is simply unimaginable. How else could one enjoy the soothing national drink several times a day? It consists of Chinese green tea, fresh Nana mint and, of course, lots of sugar. The traditional preparation of tea is a purely male affair throughout the Maghreb and welcomes the guest into the house.

But a Moroccan teapot is also perfect for serving other teas. Whether strong Assam or sweet Darjeeling, whether leaves of green tea or peppermint, whether flowers of chamomile or lime: The bulbous shape allows the aromas to penetrate the water optimally. The design of our teapots plays no role in the enjoyment experience. Your decision is purely a matter of personal taste.

Our highly polished teapots are newly but traditionally handmade in the Moroccan city of Fez. The antique teapots are polished pieces made of silver-plated brass. Both versions are decorated in a typical oriental way.

Our tip: Surprise your guests with a traditional tea ceremony. At Casa-Moro you will find besides oriental teapots also other tea accessories - from tea trays and tea tables to tea glasses, sugar bowls and containers for the mint.
